This page is specifically for NYC Public Schools using Acadience Reading and Math assessments. If you are not an NYC Public School, please go to the Acadience Learning website.
Acadience Reading K-6 is a digital assessment administered via the Acadience Learning Online (ALO) app, which is available on NYCPS-issued iPads and can be installed on a touchscreen tablet device (not smartphone).
Early Numeracy measures for Acadience Math may be administered digitally in Acadience Learning Online; all other assessment measures for math will continue to be administered as a paper-pencil assessment and scored manually. If a school selects this assessment by the ordering deadline in the Periodic Assessment Selection Tool (PAST), paper-pencil materials for all three administration windows will be delivered September 10-12, 2025. For student-facing materials, data entry/viewing, and asynchronous professional learning content, Acadience Learning Online (ALO) can be accessed using this direct link (NYCPS login required).
NYCPS educators can view and register for professional learning (PL) on the Periodic Assessment PL Registration Site.
PL calendars and session resources, including slide decks and handouts, will be available in the Acadience folder on the Periodic Assessment Professional Learning SharePoint site (NYCPS login required).
