Sian Lott is a System Support Specialist with Acadience, bringing nearly three decades of experience in early childhood and literacy education. She works primarily with districts across New York City, supporting system-level implementation of Acadience through data-informed decision-making, instructional alignment, and capacity building. Her work focuses on helping district leaders, coaches, and educators effectively use screening, progress monitoring, and diagnostic data to strengthen tiered systems of support.

Sian’s professional background includes roles as an elementary teacher, Reading First Instructional Coach, Pre-K Site Director, intervention teacher, and state-level literacy mentor. She previously served as a CLSD Literacy for Learning, Living, and Leading (L4GA) Program Specialist with the Georgia Department of Education, where she supported districts in grant implementation, data use, high-quality literacy instruction, and community literacy partnerships. Her expertise includes the Science of Reading, early foundational skills, data literacy, and diagnostic error analysis, with a strong understanding of the impact of poverty, health barriers, and trauma on learning.
