Acadience is hosting twice weekly overviews of our Early Reading Screening Tool for sites in Ontario.
The overview will provide a demonstration of the Acadience Reading K-6 (English) and Acadience Reading Français (French) assessments, the ALO reporting platform, and provide an opportunity to answer questions you may have.
Acadience Reading K–6 is an early literacy and reading screening tool designed to identify students who are at risk in order to provide timely instructional support and prevent the occurrence of later reading difficulties. Measures are administered digitally in Acadience Learning Online (ALO) with assessment results available immediately in ALO’s dynamic and robust data reporting features. Acadience Reading Français (formerly known as IDAPEL in research) is an early literacy and reading screening tool in French designed to identify students who are at risk in order to provide timely instructional support and prevent the occurrence of later reading difficulties. Measures are administered using paper and pencil materials, and scores are entered into Acadience Data Management (ADM) where assessment results are available to view in a variety of reports and data visualizations.
Options for training include live workshops (in person or virtual) and self-paced, online courses.
