Tara Galloway, PhD currently serves as Executive Director of Implementation Services at Acadience. In this role, she provides strategic leadership for building a national model of implementing assessment systems that support data-driven decision-making and improved student outcomes. Dr. Galloway is an education leader with over three decades of experience spanning K–12 systems, higher education, and state-level initiatives. Her previous experience includes roles in elementary classroom instruction, higher education, district and state-level leadership, as well as statewide literacy reform, advising NC Department of Education Agency Leaders and State Legislators on early literacy policy and implementation. She holds a PhD and M.Ed. in Special Education from UNC Charlotte and a B.S. in Special Education from Pembroke State University, with a minor in Psychology. Dr. Galloway brings a deep understanding of instructional systems, educator development, and implementation at scale.
