Tennille Whitmore is an Assistant Director of Professional Learning where she currently supports content-focused professional learning, training resources, and mentor supports aligned to Acadience assessments.
Previously, Tennille served as an Early Literacy Implementation Specialist and Technical Assistance Partner with Michigan’s MiMTSS Technical Assistance Center, where she supported ISD, district, and school teams in the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for literacy and behavior.
Across more than two decades in education, her experience has included statewide professional learning and coaching as an Acadience Reading Super Mentor, literacy content development specialist, and data coordination partner with leadership of research-based initiatives. Her background also includes roles as a district-level Title I director, literacy coach, and classroom teacher at both the elementary and middle school levels.
Tennille holds a Master of Arts in Reading and Literacy (K–12) and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Central Michigan University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
