Word Use Fluency-Revised

Word Use Fluency-Revised (WUF-R) is an experimental assessment available to research partners.

Overview

WUF-R is an untimed measure of oral language and expressive vocabulary for students in kindergarten through third grade. Each form includes 15 words. The student is asked to use each word in a sentence.

WUF-R introduces partial credit scoring in addition to the full credit scoring of previous versions. The partial credit scoring will allow credit to be given to students who convey knowledge of the word’s meaning and/or appropriate use, but do not answer in a complete sentence or do not use the exact form of the word.

Contact us for more information on how to use WUF-R for benchmarking purposes.
